Pratt, 2017+ Phillip Isaac Pratt (Thomas Henry6, William5, William4, John3, William2, Griffin1), fourth child of Thomas Henry Pratt and Frances Irion, was born May 9, 1825, in Leaksville, Rockingham County, North Carolina. Phillip married Nancy "Nannie" Webb Harris, daughter of Jesse Harris and Royal Wesley, December 20, 1847, in Leaksville, Rockingham County, North Carolina. She was born January 1, 1832, in Leaksville, Rockingham County. Ashel Joseph Grogan, who married Phillip Isaac's older sister, Elizabeth, was the bondsman for their marriage. Phillip was a farmer owing land on Matrimony Creek, off Old Goat Road (now Garrett Road) about 4 miles northwest of Leaksville (Eden), Rockingham County, North Carolina. Nancy's grandparents, Nathaniel Harris and Nancy Webb, originally owned this land. Phillip died at home on the farm, June 18, 1887, and Nancy died five years later on November 29, 1892. Both are buried in the Pratt Cemetery, Leaksville (Eden), Rockingham County, North Carolina (Find A Grave Memorial # 34823871, 34823880).
