Description	:	Phillip Stotz was born February 28, 1906 in South Russia, a son of Phillip and Rosina Flemmer Stotz. When he was a young boy, his parents and he moved to the US, settling near Hosmer SD. In 1916 they moved to Hillsview ND, where he attended school. During the fall of 1929 they moved to a farm north of Circle where they farmed until 1952, when they moved to Fallon. Read More	Phillip Stotz was born February 28, 1906 in South Russia, a son of Phillip and Rosina Flemmer Stotz. When he was a young boy, his parents and he moved to the US, settling near Hosmer SD. In 1916 they moved to Hillsview ND, where he attended school. During the fall of 1929 they moved to a farm north of Circle where they farmed until 1952, when they moved to Fallon. Mr Stotz and Jacobine “Jackie” (Koppenstein) Kron were married September 3, 1953 in Fallon. They continued to farm until 1956 when Mr Stotz went to work for the Buffalo Rapids until his retirement. Mrs Stotz died in July 1990. He continued to live in Fallon and Miles City. He was a member of the Evangelical Church of North America in Fallon. Mr Stotz, 85, died April 2, 1991 in the Friendship Villa at Miles City. Three step-daughters, Herta (Alvin) Stickel of Fallon, Erna (Don) Curley of Whitefish and Renata Grekoff of Sheridan WY; eight sisters, Carolina Kaul, Lydia Wagner and Alma Schepens, all of Glendive, Eva Flemmer of ND, Kathrine Gab and Anna Ottar , both of Hosmer SD, Emma Strobel of Absarokee and Mary Squires of WA; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren survive her. —condensed from The Terry Tribune 4-10-1991 p. 14
