Description	:	Phillis Richardson Grattan, 68, of 611 S. Main St., Harrisonburg died early Saturday morning at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Grattan was born Sept. 8, 1910 in Front Royal and was a daughter of the late Marcus C. and Ethel Johnson Richardson. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Harrisonburg. She was married twice. On June 15,1938, she married Circuit Court Judge Albert Constable IV of Elkton, Md., who preceded her in death. On Sept. 18,1950, she married George G. Grattan III, a Harrisonburg attorney, who also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Albert Constable V of Dayton and Phillip Richardson Constable of Mount Crawford; a step-son, George G. Grattan IV of Charlottesville; a step-daughter, Elizabeth Grattan Averitt of Statesboro, Ga.; a brother, Marcus C. Richardson of Oxon Hill, Md.; five grandchildren, and seven step-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Woodbine Cemetery by Dr. W. W. Thomas. The body is at Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Grattan home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 12, Harrisonburg, or to the Harrisonburg Rescue Squad.
