Description	:	WATERVILLE - Philmore F. Fecteau, 91, died Sunday evening, Aug. 9, 2009, at Lakewood Manor after a brief illness with his family by his side. He was born Nov. 11, 1917, in Waterville, the son of Charles and Carmeline (Richards) Fecteau. He was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Waterville High School. He was formerly employed at the Central Maine Sanatorium for several years and then was employed at Sterns Department Store. Fecteau, 91, died Sunday evening, Aug. 9, 2009, at Lakewood Manor after a brief illness with his family by his side. He was born Nov. 11, 1917, in Waterville, the son of Charles and Carmeline (Richards) Fecteau. He was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Waterville High School. He was formerly employed at the Central Maine Sanatorium for several years and then was employed at Sterns Department Store. After retirement, he took great pride working and cultivating his backyard flower garden and he enjoyed playing cribbage games with family and friends. He was a life member of the Waterville Lodge of Elks and a member of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Assembly. He is survived by his wife, Georgia E. (Kenniston) Fecteau of Waterville; one son, Clifford Fecteau of Fairfield; one daughter, Elizabeth Glidden and her husband, Edward, of Gardiner; one sister-in-law, Frances Fecteau of Citrus Springs, Fla.; also by four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Olive Fecteau, Katherine LeCours Lemelin and Hortense Bucknam; and four brothers, Richard, Frederick, Charles Jr. and Carroll Fecteau.
