She passed away February 27, 2019 in El Dorado. Shortly after graduating from Moline High School, Phyllis was united in marriage to the love of her life Garry VanBuskirk. Garry and Phyllis owned and operated the Dairy Queen in El Dorado for 53 years and still being operated by the family. Read More	Phyllis May Clubine Van Buskirk March 21, 1938 ~ February 27, 2019 Phyllis was born March 21, 1938 in Moline, Kansas, the daughter of George and Elsie (Lewis) Clubine. She passed away February 27, 2019 in El Dorado. Shortly after graduating from Moline High School, Phyllis was united in marriage to the love of her life Garry VanBuskirk. Garry and Phyllis owned and operated the Dairy Queen in El Dorado for 53 years and still being operated by the family. She was a member of the Kansas Dairy Queen Association, serving on their board of directors for 15 years and held every position on the board. Phyllis and Garry were members of the Goldwing Road Riders Association, enjoying many trips and Phyllis also served on the board and received many awards for her service. She is also a member of the First Christian Church, El Dorado. Survived by her husband, Garry, children, Dorthy Stafford and David VanBuskirk, grand children, sisters, Mary Fern Boyer and Virginia Tharp, brother, Dale Clubine, several nieces and nephews and other extended family members. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Warren Clubine, Ben Clubine, Mildred McNown and Robert Clubine. Interment: Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard, Kansas Carlson Colonial Funeral Home.
