Description	:	Pierce Allan Drummond, 82, of Eden Terrace, Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, April 6, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 13, 1930, in the Green Pond community of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Thomas Benton and Isabelle (Free) Drummond. He was retired from the U.S. Soil Conservation Service; and following retirement sold and developed real estate, enjoyed playing golf, and was a lifelong farmer. Read More	Pierce Allan Drummond, 82, of Eden Terrace, Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, April 6, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 13, 1930, in the Green Pond community of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Thomas Benton and Isabelle (Free) Drummond. Smith and their son, Jacob Drummond Smith, of Marietta, GA; and his son, Philip Allan Drummond and his wife Kelly Greathouse Drummond of Charlotte, NC. Visitation was 2:00-2:45 PM, Monday, April 9, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services followed at 3:00 PM at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone and the Rev. Bill Adams. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 101 Verdae Boulevard, Suite 130-153, Greenville, SC 29607.
