Description	:	Mrs. Evert Ten Napel passed away at her home in Sioux Center on Thursday morning, Sept. 11, 1941 at the age of 80 years. She had been enjoying good health and had been visiting with neighbors during the day but became seriously ill during the night, passing away a few hours later. Mrs. Ten Napel was born on April, 4, 1861 and spent nearly all her life in this community. She was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1938 [sic]. Surviving are 8 children namely Pete and Clarence of Sioux City, Manus and Herman of Ireton, Mrs. Fred Kuhl of Sioux Center, Mrs. Duitsland of Sioux City and Henry and Ralph both of California. Funeral services were held omn Sept. 16 in the First Ref. church with the Rev. Mr. Meengs officiating. Interment was made in the local cemetery with G. Van Donkelaar, Peter Bosch, Case Van Muyden, D. Rozeboom, C. De Vos and Wm. Cleveringa acting as pall bearers. Sioux County Capital 1941-09-25.
