Read More	Mrs. Polly Ann Shenk, 62, passed away Wednesday, April 17th, in the Page Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for one week. She was a member of the Rocky Branch Baptist Church. Born July 13, 1900 in Culpeper County, the daughter of the late Jacob B. Smith and Lona B. Jewell Smith. She was united in marriage, May 20, 1917 with Vernon F. Shenk, who survives her. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wallace (Ruth) Judd, Luray and Mrs. Leonard (Gladys) Wright, Winchester. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Ruth Jewell and one brother, Benton Smith, both of Luray. One brother, Ernest, is deceased. Also surviving are the following grandchildren: Jacob F. Mooreland, Vernon Wright and Ruth Ann Wright. Two great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at the Bradley Funeral Home Friday April, 19th, at 4:00 p.m., with Rev. John Bradley and Rev. Edwin Bradley officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Page News & Courier, April 18, 1963
