Description	:	Son of Wesley Vandon and Sarah Alice Richardson Lovell, husband of Ella Rosa Lee Rogers. DILLON - Postell Lovell, age 33, died at the home of his brother, L. C. Lovell, at Roseboro, NC, Sunday night, March16th after a weeks illness with pneumonia. Mr. Lovell was well known in Dillon having spent his boyhood days here attending the Dillon school and later running a café before volunteering for service in the army, leaving her to go to Mexico and foreign countries. DILLON - Postell Lovell, age 33, died at the home of his brother, L. C. Lovell, at Roseboro, NC, Sunday night, March16th after a weeks illness with pneumonia. Mr. Lovell was well known in Dillon having spent his boyhood days here attending the Dillon school and later running a café before volunteering for service in the army, leaving her to go to Mexico and foreign countries. Returned home he lived at Gresham for a while, late going to Roseboro where he ran a motion picture theater. He married Miss Rosalee Rogers of Mullins, who with one child, Margaret, survives him. The funeral services and burial were held Monday afternoon at the Richardson Home Cemetery at Brittons Neck, and was attended by the mayor and town council members of the chamber of commerce and a delegation from the Junior Order, of Roseboro, of which two latter organizations he was an active member, showing the esteem in which he was held. There were also many friends from Fayetteville, Mullins, and Marion to unite with Dillon friends in attending his funeral. Surviving are his wife and daughter; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. V. Lovell of Gresham; four sisters, Mrs. J. M. Jones and Mrs. T. G. Saxon, Mrs. Della King and Miss Jose Lovell of Gresham; and six brothers, W. L. Lovell, Will Lovell and Bare Bartow Lovell, all of Dillon, Bevin Lovell of Mullins; L. C. Lovell of Roseboro, NC and Charles T. Lovell of Fayetteville. Published in the Dillon Herald, March 20, 1930
