Description	:	Preston J. "PJ" Morris, 62, of Ruckersville, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Born June 13, 1944, in Albemarle County, he was the son of the late Earnest E. Morris and Mattie M. Morris. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Aubrey Morris Sr. and Bobby Morris Sr. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Morris of Ruckersville; a son, Bradley Morris and his wife, Stephanie; and two grandchildren, Allison Morris and Spencer Morris. "PJ" Morris, 62, of Ruckersville, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Born June 13, 1944, in Albemarle County, he was the son of the late Earnest E. Morris and Mattie M. Morris. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Aubrey Morris Sr. and Bobby Morris Sr. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Morris of Ruckersville; a son, Bradley Morris and his wife, Stephanie; and two grandchildren, Allison Morris and Spencer Morris. He is also survived by a brother, Olen Morris of Ruckersville; two sisters, Elna Collier of Charlottesville and Frances Buttner of Ruckersville; several nephews; nieces; and many friends. He is also survived by very special and extraordinary friends, Dave and Romayne Ashley. "PJ" retired from Sprint and was also a former employee of Comdial. He was an avid bowler, a former pitcher for the Stacey/Woodied fast-picth softball team and enjoyed many other sports. He was a member of the Elk and Moose Lodge in Charlottesville.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2006, at the Nortonsville Church of God, with Pastors David Allison, Wendall Lamb, Dale Freeman, Larry Hudson and Kyle Clements officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Dyke. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2006, at Preddy Funeral Home, Madison. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation, C/O Division of Nephrology, P.O. Box 800133, Charlottesville, VA 22908 or the Bone Marrow Foundation.
