He was the husband of Mary Ann Brown. Born June 21, 1922, in Clarksburg, he was a son of the late Roby H. and Virgie Estelle Price Brown. Mr. Brown was a retired Montgomery County police officer. He was the husband of Mary Ann Brown. Born June 21, 1922, in Clarksburg, he was a son of the late Roby H. and Virgie Estelle Price Brown. Mr. Brown was a retired Montgomery County police officer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion, Frederick; Plymouth Lodge 143 AF and A Masons, Union Bridge; Ali Ghan Shrine Temple, Cumberland; Frederick Scottish Rite Body; the Baltimore Scottish Rite; the Frederick Keystone Kopps, Shrine Unite of Ali Ghan Temple; and the Elks Lodge, Frederick. He was also a member of Mount View United Methodist Church in Damascus. Surviving in addition to his wife, are one stepson, John C. Myers of Creagerstown; and one sister, Nora Shipley of Silver Spring. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus. Funeral services will be at Mount View United Methodist Church, 11501 Mount View Road, Damascus, Thursday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. Mr. Brown's pastor, the Rev. Michael E. Leftwich, will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
