Description	:	Mrs. Leese, widow of Henry Leese, died at the home of her son, David Leese, one mile east on the York road on Saturday, March 23, 1918, in her 89th year being the oldest citizen of that section of the district. She was a sufferer from dropsy for a long time but during the later days quinsy developed to which frail nature yielded and she passed peaceably away. She was an ideal neighbor and friend always ready with heart and hand to give help to the needy and comfort to the distressed, none were sent away empty nor needy ones... Read More	Mrs. Leese, widow of Henry Leese, died at the home of her son, David Leese, one mile east on the York road on Saturday, March 23, 1918, in her 89th year being the oldest citizen of that section of the district. She was a sufferer from dropsy for a long time but during the later days quinsy developed to which frail nature yielded and she passed peaceably away. She was an ideal neighbor and friend always ready with heart and hand to give help to the needy and comfort to the distressed, none were sent away empty nor needy ones neglected but wherever relief was needed she was ready to do her bit. Her remains were laid to rest in a family lot in the Lutheran cemetery, Rev. C.G. Leatherman officiating. Messrs. Charles Gilbert, Thomas Kuhns, Urvin Lippy, Wesley Shaffer, William Folgert and Delph Wentz were pallbearers. Wink Bros., funeral directors. She is survived by four sons and two daughters. She was a sister of the late Mrs. Jacob Weimert, of Pa. Ave., this city, and the last of the family. The Times, Westminster, MD., Friday, March 29, 1918
