He leaves to mourn his wife, Eleanor Moors Witbeck. He will be greatly missed by his children; Teddy J. (Barbara) Witbeck, Gregory (Shana) Witbeck Sr., Paulette (Gene) Ganz, Cecil (Dianne) Finch, Mary Lou Lockridge, Jo-Anne (Stuart) Finch, Margy Witbeck, and J.E. Teddy (Cathy) Witbeck and well as his brother, Brownie Owen (Lavina) Witbeck, Bessie Pratt and Dixie (John) Pratt, 28 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Teddy (Cathy) Witbeck and well as his brother, Brownie Owen (Lavina) Witbeck, Bessie Pratt and Dixie (John) Pratt, 28 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Archibald and Bessie Witbeck, sisters, Felda Scoville, Maxine Christensen, Pauline King, his fist wife, Lulu Strong Witbeck and grandson, John Allen Witbeck. Teddy left school at a young age to help support his family after the early passing of his father. He served his country in World War II and took part in the liberation of Hollard. A highlight in his life was returning to Holland for the 50th year reunion of freedom in that country. Ted served as the President of the Raymond Legion for over 30 years, organizing each Remembrance Day service and Poppy Drive with pride and love for his community. He worked 24 years for the Provincial Government at the Raymond Care Centre with his brother, Brownie. He was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Boy Scouts, Sunday School and in the High Priest Group Leadership for many years. Teddy is known for the playful twinkle in his eye and his loving nature. He loved to sing and yodel and he called each of his cows by name for their morning milking. He was a loving husband, and father, a cowboy, a farmer, and a real character. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, Taylor Street Chapel, Raymond, with Bishop Todd Snow officiating.
