Carr, of Meadow Grove will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Missionary and Alliance Church at Meadow Grove. The REV. E. R. Christiansen will officiate. Music will be furnished by the REV. and Mrs. John Brokopp of Norfolk. Burial will be in Union Cemetery T Battle Creek. Pall bearers will be Wayne Tegeler, Elmer Hannen, Joe Sullivan, Paul Green, Ray Green, Ray Hixson, and Dave Monson. The body will lie in state from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Marshall Mortuay in Tidden ans at the church in Meadow Grove one hour prior to services. Clifford Carr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carr, was born March 28, 1896 at Battle Creek. He died Jan. 5 in a Norfolk hospital. On Oct. 6, 1922 he married Hilda Marie Kaplan. He was a disabled veteran of World War I when he served in the army. He spent most of his life in the Meadow Grove area. Survivors include his widow, Hilda, and two brothers, Monte of Gardena, Calif. and Hollis of Huntington Beach, Calif. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Maude Shipley and Mrs. Loretta Jacobson. The family requests memorials be made to the Missionary and Alliance Church. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in Battle Creek. Clifford Carr was born March 28, 1896 to Chas. and Elizabeth Busick Carr at Battle Creek. He was married to Hilda Marie a Kaplan on Oct. 6, 1921. They lived in the Meadow Grove area many years. Mr. Carr was a disabled WWI veteran. He passed away Jan. 5 in the Catholic hospital in Norfolk which he entered Dec. 23. He is survived by his wife, two brothers, Monte, Gardena, Calif. and Hollis, Huntington Beach, Calif., two nieces, Mrs. Vic Northhouse and Mrs. Leland Highbee, both oh Norfolk. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
