Description	:	Highland County May 24, 1912 At the home of his son, on Little Back Creek, Saturday last, Mr. Brown Briscoe, one of Highland's old men, passed to his final reward. He had been in failing health for a long time, and his death was not unexpected. Mr. Briscoe formerly lived near Meadow Dale, but we are not informed as to whether he was a native of the county or not.
