F 24th Iowa Infantry ∼A very sad occurence is reported from Rochester township in the death of Mr. and Mrs. John Kester, old and highly respected residents of that locality. Both were attacked by diptheria which proved fatal to Mr. Kester on Friday and to Mrs. Kester on the next day. A family of four children is thus bereaved with a suddenness which adds, if possible, to the severity of the affliction. |
