Description	:	WOODRUFF-Graveside services for Pvt. Kermit Abercombie, who was killed in Europe June 25, 1944, will be held Friday afternon at 4 at the Bramlett Methodist Church cemetery. Full military rites will be given by soldiers from the Greenville base. Pvt. Abercrombie was born and reared in the Harristown section of Laurens County. He attended Greenville High School, but graduated from Boys' School in Anderson. He entered service in October 1943, and was trained at Camp Wheeler, Ga., before going over seas in April 1944, to take part in the Normandy invasion.
