Description	:	Millage St.Clair Corkum 1949 Bridgewater, October 11- A veteran of World War One, Millage St.Clair Corkum, passed away at the Dawson Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 10, at the age of 53 years. Mr. Corkum was born at Pleasantville, son of John and Angeline Corkum. He enlisted as a bugler in the 25th. Battalion in the First World War, and during his war service received wounds which caused his last illness. After the war he made his home in Bridgewater, where he was an employee of the C.N.R. Read More	Millage St.Clair Corkum 1949 Bridgewater, October 11- A veteran of World War One, Millage St.Clair Corkum, passed away at the Dawson Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 10, at the age of 53 years. Mr. Corkum was born at Pleasantville, son of John and Angeline Corkum. He enlisted as a bugler in the 25th. Battalion in the First World War, and during his war service received wounds which caused his last illness. After the war he made his home in Bridgewater, where he was an employee of the C.N.R. He was a member of No. 24 Branch, Canadian Legion, B.E.S.L., and of the Brotherhood of Railway Workers. He was highly esteemed here. He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel Meisner, New Germany; and his only child, Mildred, wife of Robert Simonson of Elmira, New York; and three grandchildren, Terry, Marcia, and Colleen.
