Description	:	March 28, 1941 Relatives and friends are glad to know that Ralph Rush, who was injured while at his work at the Altman Mill near Troy Wednesday afternoon, was able to be removed from the Stouder Hospital to the home of his parents. Mr Rush received several fractured ribs and other bad bruises when caught between 2 box cars. Oct 2, 1941 Pvt Ralph Rush who has been stationed at Camp Walters, TX, the past 16 weeks has been transferred to another camp in Texas Aug 20, 1943 Pvt Ralph Rush, son of Mr and Mrs Raleigh Rush, east of town arrived here Monday evening from Santa Rosa, CA for a 15 day visit with his parents and other relatives. Pvt Rush has been in service 14 months and this is his first furlough May 4, 1944 Cpl Ralph Rush has been transferred from Camp Van Dorn, Miss, to Camp Meade, MD May 18, 1944 A very quiet wedding took place Saturday evening May 13 at the home of the brides parents in Dayton when at 8:00 Miss Charlotte Nanyeks became the bride of Cpl Ralph Rush. The attendants were Harry Rush, a brother of the groom and a girl friend of the bride from Dayton. Cpl Rush was home on a short furlough but will report at Camp Meade, MD sometime this week where he has been stationed the past month. Jan 11, 1945 Mrs Raleigh Rush has just received a lovely hand made necklace from her son Cpl Ralph Rush who is stationed somewhere in England. Feb 5, 1945 Mr and Mrs Raleigh Rush received a letter last week from their son Cpl Ralph Rush saying he was somewhere in Belgium and liked the country better than where he was in England. March 1, 1945 Mr and Mrs Raleigh Rush have received a letter from their son Cpl Ralph Rush stating he had been transferred from Belgium to Germany April 19, 1945 Cpl Ralph Rush was killed in Germany March 24, 1945 according to a government notice sent to his wife, Mrs Charlotte Rucsh. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Raleigh Ruch of St Rt 69. Cpl Rush was inducted into the army June 9, 1941 and was sent overseas on June 1, 1944. He was a member of the 16th Infantry.
