| Description | : | Roscoe Day was just a great guy. Nothing fancy, nothing grand. He worked very hard all his life, and was a friend to everyone. He grew up in Ash Grove, Iowa, spent time in the Army and overseas in WW II and worked on the Stars and Stripes. He married Margaret Maxson in 1945 and adopted two children, Jim, in 1955 and Sue in 1959.
