Re-enlisted Dec 25, 1863. he was discharged for disability (severe gunshot wound to left forearm) Feb 11, 1865 at Petersburg, VA. He also had service in Co G 17th Maine Infantry regiment and Co G 1st Maine Heavy Artillery.
