Read More	Quincy Manfull Died Sunday Was Pioneer Citizen of Tama County and Highland Township Funeral Services Held Tuesday Afternoon at the Home Largely Attended - Other News from Montour and Highland Township Quincy Manfull, one of the oldest citizens and a pioneer of the county, passed away Sunday at the home of his son Robert, four miles south of Montour of the infirmites of old age. He had been in poor health for several years, and for the past three years had been bedfast most of the time. Mr. Manfull was born in Augusta, Ohio, September 26, 1837, and died at his home in Highland township October 16, 1921, at the age of 84 years and 20 days. He came to Iowa in the spring of 1857, settling in Cedar county. One year later he removed to Tama county, settling on a farm in Highland township, where he resided for over sixty-four years. On October 16, 1869, he was united in marriage to Eliza Woods, death coming to him on his fifty-second wedding anniversary. To this union were born six children, all of whom survive him. They are: Arthur of Traer, Mary Ellen Winders of LeMars, Kate B. Fish of Marshalltown, Fanny Emily Manfull of Mercedes, Texas, Robert Henry of Montour, and George Samuel of Marshalltown. He is also survived by his wife. The funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon and were very largely attended, Rev. J.L. Marks, pastor of the Methodist church of Montour conducted the service. A quartet composed of O.L. Millard, Rev. Marks, Mrs. W.D. Bridges and Mrs. C.J. Holden furnished the music. The pall bearers were R.E. Dowd, Scott Moyer, Charles Gary, W.J. Wade, J.E. Rouse and Will Ingram. The body was laid to rest in Maple Hill cemetery at Montour. Relatives and friends from a distance in attendance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Manfull of Traer, Mr. and Mrs. Will Winders of LeMars, Mr. and Mrs. George Manfull and Mrs. Katie Fish of Marshalltown, Mrs. George Olds of Gilman, Leonard Grau of Ireton, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Nelson of Sheldon, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Ingram of Tama, Mr. and Mrs. George Gary, Hon. and Mrs. Fred Ingersoll and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Winders of Toledo.
