Growing up in the area, Quinton attended local schools and graduated from Chapman High School with the class of 1951. On October 29, 1966, he married Waneta Dillon in Salina. All of their married life was spent in Salina. Quinton had been employed by Kooken Electric in Abilene and Jarrett Electric in Salina, retiring in 1998. Growing up in the area, Quinton attended local schools and graduated from Chapman High School with the class of 1951. On October 29, 1966, he married Waneta Dillon in Salina. He enjoyed wood working, going to auctions, spending time on the family farm and attending musical events. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 18th, at the Greenlawn Cemetery south of Abilene with Kelley McNichols officiating. The family will receive friends 2:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday, January 17th, at the Danner Funeral Home. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the Chapman High School Music Scholarship.
