Word was received this morning of the sudden death of Mrs. Rachel Beer of Cincinnati; Mrs. Beer was taken ill Tuesday night, and has been seriously ill ever since, the end coming Wednesday evening at eleven o'clock, caused from an attack of gall stones, which caused a collapse. Her son, John Beer, agent of the Burlington at this place was called home Tuesday and remained with her until the end. Mrs. Elizabeth Sturdivant and Dr. Frank Sturdivant went to Cincinnati this morning. Mrs. Beer was born in Bonaparte, Iowa, and was married to Mr. Moses N. Beer in Cincinnati; Mr. Beer died July 27, 1909, and one week previous, July 21st, to his death, her daughter Emma died. Mrs. Beer leaves to mourn her death two children, John M., of Centerville, and Stella, who lived with her mother, and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Sturdivant of Centerville, and Mrs. William Wilson, of Bonaparte, Iowa, besides many other relatives. Mrs. Beer was in her 66th year. The funeral will be held Friday, September 29th at 2:30 p.m. It is thought the Rev. Mr. McKinley, of Unionville, Mo., will conduct the services as he officiated at the services of both Emma and Mr. Beer. The Iowa death information below and obituary indicate she was born in Bonaparte, Iowa.
