Read More	Rachel Buchanan Breedlove, 88, of Oxford, NC (in the Watkins community) died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Maria Parham Health. Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Owen and Pearl Wynne Buchanan. She was the widow of Douglas Chandler Breedlove. Mrs. Breedlove was a retired LPN at Maria Parham Health. She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, the Open Door Sunday School Class, Rehoboth Methodist Women, and the Bible Study Class. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Lee Miller and Pastor Will Breedlove. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are a daughter, Joanne B. Tello (Joe) of Hillsborough, NC; a son, Michael Douglas Breedlove (Shelia) of Oxford, NC; three grandchildren, Michael D. Breedlove Jr. (Michelle) of Henderson, William Nelson "Will" Breedlove (Hope) of Oxford, NC, and Jessica Hayes Tello of Hillsborough, NC; five great-grandchildren, Phillip Clark, Austin Breedlove, Emily Breedlove, Benjamin "Ben" Breedlove, and Matthew Breedlove; a sister, Hazel B. Ayscue (Alfred) of Rocky Mount, NC; and a brother, Thomas "Tommy" Buchanan (Gracie) of Henderson. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m., in the church fellowship hall. All other times, they will be at the home. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Rehoboth United Methodist Church, c/o Barbara Burwell, 2205 Community House Road, Oxford, NC 27565 or to Watkins Volunteer Fire Department, c/o Virginia Parrott, 1380 Horseshoe Bend Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
