Jones died last evening shortly after 5 o'clock at Beechwood hospital where she was taken last week. Her condition was critical when she was taken to the hospital and death was expected. Mrs. Jones was born in Brown county, March 23, 1860, and was the last of eight children born to Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Hoffman. She was married to John R. Jones April 23, 1880 and two children were born to this union, Edgar L. Jones of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ed Vice of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Jones moved to Tipton in 1909 after living 12 years in Elwood. Previously they had lived in Illinois.
