I John Miller, Blacksmmith of The District of Abbyville, The State of South Carolina, Being Of Perfect Mind and memory, But in a declining state of bodily health,and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, I do make and ordain this my last will and testement. I commend my soul into the hands that gave it,and I allow my body to be buried in a decent Christian mannor at the decresion of My exectures. And As Tuching such a worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life. I Give, demise, and Dispose of the same in the following manor. First. I desire all my just Debts to be paid, and Funeral expence, discharged. Also I Give abd Bequeath to my Beloved wife Racheal during her Natural life one negro named Samson,and one named Sine.Also that it be in her power to do the part of Mother by my four Youngest children in raising,schooling them ect. I give and bequeath unto her during her widowhood the use of the plantation on whitch I now live,a negro woman named Cate. her riding chair and harness. and my plantation tools, household and out house furniture, and All the part of My live stock that it may be her pleasure to keep after all my legacies and debtors are paid. Also I give and bequeath to my son Mathew Thompson Forever the two Negros aforesaid Viz:Samson and Cate with all her issues at the present time: the negros at her Mother Death death or marriage and when he is twenty one years of Age I Bequeath to him a horse and sadle two cows and calves,a bed and funniture Also I give and Bequeath to My Son George, my daughters, Mary and Isabella,each five dollars one year after my decease. Also I give and bequeath to my son John Four Hundred dollars eighteen mounths after my deceased Also I give and bequeath forever unto my son Andrew one tract of Land containing two hundred acres situated in Pendelton Districe on the water of twenty Three Mile Creek Also I give and bequeath unto my son James Forever one Hundred and fiftey acres of Land more or less formerly bought from Samual Wardlaw, reserving ten acres in the west corner to be layed off in a triangle; in lew of whitch he is to have as much at the old mill pond to be laid off so as to secure to him the benifit of the water:also a bed and furniture Also I give and bequeath to my son Allen Thompson ninty acres of Land to be laid off the south the south side of the old tract on whitch I now live by a line running S.40 Degrees West. Also two hundered acres more or less to be laid of a tract granted in my name beginning where the line above ended and continuning the same source across the survay. Also the negro boy named Robin.One Bed and furnatur,and one sorrell now 5 years old. Also I give and bequeath to my son william two hundred and fifty acres of land where I now Live and also one hundred and twenty acres more or less beint the balance of of the tract above bequeath to my son Allen, Also the Two negro boys harry, and bed and furniture Also I give and bequeath to My daughter lucenda, When She arrives at the age of eighteen years, one horse valued at seventy five dollars and a good saddle. a bed and furniture, and eather a small negro girl named Sarah or else three hundred dollars. Also I give and bequeath to my stepson Washington Liddell one bed and furnature. Lastly, I desire that should any of the three youngest sons by my first wife die without issue, the whole of my property I have bequeathed to them may be equally devided amongust the survivors. And should any of my four youngest children by my last wife die without issue. I desire that the property that I have bequeathed to them may be equally devided amongst the survivors. Also I appoint my wife Racheal Exectrix and my son Andrew,and Benjamin Yancy. Esq.exectors of this my last will and testament.And I do disallow revoke and disanul all and every other former testaments,Wills Legecies. Bequeats and Exectures by ne in at any will before named willed and bequeathed,ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last and testament.
