Frost, 18-year-old Ellensburg High School senior, was instantly killed at 11 o'clock last night when the light roadster he was driving struck an automobile driven by Earl Van Duesen of Seattle near Easton on the Snoqualmie Pass highway and rolled into the ditch. Frost, prominent in debating at the high school, and a popular and well-known member of this year's senior class, was killed instantly, his head badly crushed. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Frost, 705 N. Kittitas Street, and has lived here all of his life. His father is a well-known local plumber. State Patrolman Bill Hays said the four Ellensburg young people were returning from Seattle when the roadster in which the two couples were riding locked front wheels with the Van Duesen car, a light car converted into a truck about 800 feet west of Easton, just over the brow of a slight grade. The roadster rolled over and over into the ditch. The truck, losing the left front wheel, stayed upright and Van Duesen was not injured. Hays said both parties declared that the other was slightly over on the wrong side of the highway. He said it was impossible to make an estimate of the speed of the two cars. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Billy, 10 years old, and a sister, Zona, nine years old. Funeral services will be held at the Honeycutt Chapel Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
