Description	:	Ralph Clyde Keho, son of James and Ella Keho, was born Jan. 13, 1896 on a farm west of Allerton, Iowa. All his life has been spent on a Wayne County farm except for two years in Phoenix, Ariz., when his family were there for sickness. He grew up in the cattle and livestock feeding business with his father. He married Elma Williams, April 20, 1929. Read More	Ralph Clyde Keho, son of James and Ella Keho, was born Jan. 13, 1896 on a farm west of Allerton, Iowa. All his life has been spent on a Wayne County farm except for two years in Phoenix, Ariz., when his family were there for sickness. He grew up in the cattle and livestock feeding business with his father. He married Elma Williams, April 20, 1929. To them were born two sons, Jack and Tom, both of which were engaged in farming with their father. Ralph was a member of the American Legion Post at Allerton, has been a rural school director, and served as a AAA committe man for six years. He was elected State Representative from Wayne County in 1956 and served in the 57th General Assembly and was still serving that office at the time of his death. He suffered a coronary attack at his farm home northwest of Allerton on Sunday morning, June 8 and spent two weeks at St. Joseph Hospital in Centerville. He returned to his home and passed away there July 8. Surviving are his wife, Elma, his son, Tom at home and his son, Jack, daughter-in-law, Lois and one grandson, James Patrick, who was born June 23 and one brother, C. H. Keho of Coin, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and sister. Full military funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton with Rev. D. M. Crawford officiating, assisted by Rev. Earl Kelly. Mrs. Marjean Poston sang, accompanied by Miss Peggy Pester. Mrs. Winnie Beavers was pianist. Honoray pallbearers were -- Zell Garratt, Guy Sprow, Perry Sears, Fred Reed, Hollie Duncan and Glen Greenlee. Pallbearers were Rep. Ivan Wells, Rep. Kenneth Owen, Rep. Franklin Main, Rep. Stanley Watts, Sen. Carroll McCurdy and Sen. Gene Hoffman. Flower bearers were Pearl Bracewell, Ray Richard, Jim Kelly, Chris Meyers, Harold Bennett, Oscar Orfield, John Chrisman. Color bearers were Roy Schooler and John Niday. Color Guards were Mervin Halfhill adn Rod Owens. Sargent of Arms was Clem Bryan. Firing squad was Don Warren, Dean Sheets, Charles Wray, Keith Johnson, Milford Lewis. Interment was in the Allerton Cemetery.
