Description	:	Ralph Edwin Little, age 88, passed away on August 24, 2021, at Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL. He was born on September 7, 1932, to Julian Ingram Little and Ollie Hill Little. He was the eleventh child, seventh son, and born on his fathers birthday. Read More	Ralph Edwin Little, age 88, passed away on August 24, 2021, at Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL. He was born on September 7, 1932, to Julian Ingram Little and Ollie Hill Little. He was the eleventh child, seventh son, and born on his fathers birthday. He resided most of his life on the family farm on Rose Creek near Columbia City. Due to health issues, he had been a resident of Willow Brook in Lake City for the past several years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Price Creek Ward and served in numerous positions in the church for many years. He was retired from the Florida Department of Transportation Traffic operations. He was famous for his Chicken Pilau that he cooked in his huge sugar kettle and boat paddle. He cooked for many fundraisers in community, church functions, and for DOT. Upon retiring his hobbies were fishing, traveling, and gardening. He spent many happy hours fishing with his friends and brothers on local rivers. Each trip was always followed by a cookout, and he was famous for his hushpuppies. He and his wife Marilyn traveled extensively throughout the United States including Hawaii and Alaska; also travels to several foreign countries. Although he traveled to many places, his favorite destination was the The Little Place, the family's summer home in the mountains of North Carolina where he enjoyed entertaining family and friends for over forty years. He was a friend to many and loved people, especially young people. His favorite activity when entertaining guests at his mountain home was to led young people on a hike to the top of the mountain and carve their initials in the big tree at top. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Marilyn Nettles Little; his parents; six brothers, Arthur, Clifton, Woodrow, George, Finley, Carl; three sisters, Leona Bonds, Louise McCall, Ellen Ward. He is survived by one son, Roger Little, Lake City, one daughter Terri Little Metrick, Lake City, five grandchildren, Roger Little, Jr., Laurie Evans (Robert), Ronnie Robinson Kelly Robinson, Will (Daisy) Robinson, six great-grandchildren, Taylor, Carly, Daisy Robinson, Jackson Robinson, Luke, Finley Evans. One sister, Rose Wilder (Billy), numerous nieces and nephews. Private family graveside services were held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Elder Regal Dicks dedicated the grave.
