Negly, Gilman, the marriage of their daughter, Ruby Evelyn, to Ralph E. Hobbs, was solemnized Wednesday noon in the presence of thirty guests. Rev. V.B. Preceding the ceremony, Miss Alice Negly sang "O Promise Me" accompanied by Miss Grace Wynn, who played the wedding march as the ring bearers, Dorothy Hesson of Newburg and Freda Bennett, cousins of the bride, preceded the bridal couple. The bride wore a dress of white organdy trimmed with lace. Mr. Hobbs is a rural mail carrier out of Gilman, where he and his bride will make their home.
