He was born to Samuel and Alice Wilkinson, July 24, 1880 at Lehigh, Iowa. On September 28, 1904, Mr. Wilkinson was united in marriage to Miss Mae Brown at Oldham, S. D. Wilkinson passed away early Tuesday morning after a short illness. He was born to Samuel and Alice Wilkinson, July 24, 1880 at Lehigh, Iowa. On September 28, 1904, Mr. Wilkinson was united in marriage to Miss Mae Brown at Oldham, S. D. Six children were born to this union. Mr. Wilkinson farmed in South Dakota until 1927, then came west to Washington, and in 1929 he came to Libby. He was employed by the J. Neils Lumber Company for many years. At the time of his death, he had retired to the country and he and Mrs. Wilkinson made their home on Getner creek. Mr. Wilkinson was a member of the Assembly of God church of Libby. He was preceded in death by a son, Duane, and is survived by his widow at the home; two sons, Marshall of Sandpoint; Herman of Libby; three daughters; Mrs. Alice Challinor and Mrs. Thelma Decker of Libby, and Mrs. Elsie Coleman of Spokane; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Holiday, Libby and Miss Grace Wilkinson of Irving, Kan; two brothers, Lloyd of Oldham, S.D. and Ernest of Highmore, S.D., and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the Gomph Funeral Home Friday, October 29 at 2 p.m. The Rev. G.L. Riffe will officiate. Music will be furnished by the Rev. and Mrs. Riffe, who will sing "Face to Face" and by Mr. and Mrs. J. Applegate, who will sing "Beyond the Sunset." Pallbearers will be members of Mr. Wilkinson's Sunday school class: Clarence Parker, Clarence Palmerton, John Baker, Calvin Rayson, Clinton Dennis Sr., and Robert Morrison. Interment will be in the Libby cemetery.
