Description	:	Ralph George Curtis Brown, Sr. was the son of Noah and Frances Anna Mary Wentz Brown. He was a Veteran of World War II serving in the US Army Signal Corps from 1941-1945. He was born Oct. 15, 1916. At the time of his death, he had a Special Friend, Lois Lamonte. Bud married Florence Gatter June 19, 1935 in Westminster, Carroll County, Maryland. The following obit was published in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News on 7/20/08 "Ralph George Curtis Brown, "Bud" born Oct. 15, 1916, died peacefully at home July 18, 2008. He was preceded in death by wife, Florence, daughter, Barbara Mae Spath, son, Ralph G. Brown, Jr., daughter, Nancy Jane McIntire and son, Paul Eugene Brown. His youth in Hanover, Pa., included riding the rails and working in a bakery. He moved to Phila. with his brother, Tom and worked at Kremp Shipbuilding and Belfield Supply. He served in the U. S. Army Signal Corps with pride in W.W.II. From 1960 to retirement in 1983, he worked for Univac in Blue Bell. Bud's calming, gentle nature with strong opinions and many interests will be missed by his loving partner, Lois, and his entire family. The Brown Family Reunion was always important to Bud. Services were held Tues., July 22, at 12 noon and Huff, & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale."
