Read More	* IN LOVING MEMORY OF * Ralph Hollis Isenhower was born on Saturday; September 17, 1921 in Montour; Tama County, Iowa. He was the son of Earl and Lucy Smith Isenhower. He was raised in the Toledo area, attending the Oak Grove School and Toledo High School. He served in the United State Army during World War II, in the South Pacific and Japan, until his honorable discharge in 1946. He moved to Marshalltown in 1951, and on December 1,1951, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Dee Boucher in Marshalltown. Following his marriage he began his twenty-four year career with the Iowa State Highway Commission, retiring on April 29, 1976, as a supervisor. Ralph was a member of Frank Lewis Glick Post #46 of the American Legion and Harry C. Harter Post #839 of the V.F.W. His pride and joy was farming and his John Deere Tractors. He enjoyed coffee with his friends at Wal-Mart, and took great pride in his children and grandchildren. He was always giving good advice and a shoulder to lean on. Mr. Isenhower, 85, passed away in Garwin; Tama County, Iowa; July 9, 2006. Those left to mourn his passing are his wife: Elizabeth Isenhower of Marshalltown; Marshall County, Iowa. His three sons: Donald (Carol) Boucher of Albion; Marshall County, Iowa. Clifford (Sharon) Boucher of Marshalltown, Iowa and Arlo (Jeannie) Boucher, Jr. of Albion, Iowa. His seven grandchildren: Holly Harvey, Jodi Perry, Sherry Reece, Paula Georing, Kim Boucher, Terri , and Donnie Boucher. His three great-grandchildren: Dusty Edwards, Shanna Cox and Alesa Taft. Also his five great-great-grandchildren. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter: Deb Taft, his three sisters and his two brothers. May they rest in peace. Visitation will be from: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will begin at: 10:30 a.m. on Thursday; July 13, 2006 at the Turner Cemetery south of Garwin. Full military honors will presented by members of Harry C. Harter Post #839 of the V.F.W. For condolences, please visit the funeral home's website.
