Description	:	Ralph Montgomery Peregory, 60, of Dahlgren passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at Heritage Hall in King George County after a long, debilitating illness and recent hospice care. Born in Fredericksburg, Mr. Peregory was a lifelong resident of Dahlgren and attended King George High School. In addition to other local business ventures, he ran the Peregory's Ace Hardware store in Dahlgren with his father for about 20 years. Read More	Ralph Montgomery Peregory, 60, of Dahlgren passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at Heritage Hall in King George County after a long, debilitating illness and recent hospice care. Born in Fredericksburg, Mr. Peregory was a lifelong resident of Dahlgren and attended King George High School. In addition to other local business ventures, he ran the Peregory's Ace Hardware store in Dahlgren with his father for about 20 years. He later sold real estate, first through Century 21 Battlefield in Dahlgren and later through EXIT Realty Expertise in King George, until his retirement. He was actively involved in the community throughout his life and participated in organizations such as King George County Fire Department Company 2 and the local Chamber of commerce. A fun-loving, adventurous character who loved helping people, he was known for his ready smile, his huge heart and his local weather reports. Survivors include his sister, Dolores A. Henderson of Owens; brother-in-law William L. Henderson of Owens; sister-in-law Gloria Peregory of Fredricksburg; partner Mande Satterfield of Dahlgren; four nieces; two nephews; two grandnieces; and seven grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde M. Peregory; his mother, Frances V. Peregory; and his brother, Lewis H. Peregory; and countless friends. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 in the annex of Oakland Baptist Church. A private graveside burial will take place later in Potomac Baptist Church Cemetery. In honor of Ralph's last wishes, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the King George Food Pantry, King George Department of Social Services, 10069 Kings Highway, King George, VA 22485.
