Margie, Jim, Duane, Emily, Linda, Bob and Janet Ralph was born and raised in the Aurora, Buchanan County, Iowa area. He graduated from Aurora high School, and almost immediately went to work at a garage in Fayette. He loved motorcycles and was a good mechanic. In a few years he got a job at Poplar Bluff, Missouri, where a he met a beautiful red head Southern Belle, Velma Lee Herter. A few months later they were married. Their two children, Robert Eugene and Janet Marlene were born in Golden Eagle, Illinois. Several years later Ralph and his his family relocated to Cedar Rapids where he was a Supervisor overseeing the building of the newest Iowa air port. The family bought a beautiful home intending to make this their home. When the air port was competed, Ralph went to work at New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. From there he went to Minnesota to work. His brother was discharged from the Army and he, Ralph and their decided to go into business together and thus The Aurora Limestone Products came into being at Aurora, Iowa. The business thrived. A pretty waitress at the cafe where the men ate their lunch caught the Eye of Ralph and in 1950 Ralph and Eloise were married. She had 4 children and Ralph had the two. The two families become one very happy family. Two years later Linda Rae joined the family making it complete. Ralph's father passed away in 1952 and soon after that The Limestone quarry was sold and Ralph went to work in Bolivia, South America. His family remained in Aurora helping his Mother. When Ralph returned from South America, the family moved to Flagstaff. Arizona, where they stayed until moving to Texas, where Ralph opened his own business. He was a smart energetic person and soon had numerous important patents registered.. He loved each and every one of his seven children, and adored his precious wife, Eloise. Theirs was truly a family made in Heaven. .*Ralph was a HEAVY SMOKER* Cause of death: Complications from stroke .
