Death was following a period of declining health. He was born December 22, 1951, at Elkins, WV, a son of the late Ralph Richard Mace Sr. and Beatrice Louise Edmond Mace. Read More	Photo: Mace Family Mr. Ralph Richard "Rich" Mace Jr. age 68, a resident of Belington and more recently of the Barbour County Good Samaritan Society departed this life Wednesday September 30, 2020 in the care facility. Death was following a period of declining health. He was born December 22, 1951, at Elkins, WV, a son of the late Ralph Richard Mace Sr. and Beatrice Louise Edmond Mace. On June 11, 1971 he was united in marriage to the former Vickey Lynn George, who survives in Belington. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son; Ralph Richard "Rich" Mace III and wife Kathryn of Belington, one sister; Charlette McDonald and husband Benny of Junior, one granddaughter; Lydia Mace and one grandson; Matthew Mace. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister; Delora Ann "DeDe" Mace Smith. Mr. Mace attended the schools of Barbour County graduating from the Philip Barbour High School with the class of 1969. He was employed for the Stroehman Bread Company for many years from which he retired. Rich was a hard-working man, with a huge heart and would do anything for anyone who was in need. He was Christian by faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A private family visitation will be held . A private funeral service will follow with the Pastor Dave Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery near Belington. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Ralph Richard "Rich" Mace Jr.
