| Description | : | Ralph Turney Ralph Turney, long-time Galveston resident and self-appointed Mayor of Teichman Road, died Thursday, April 5, 2007. He was 89. Ralph and his wife Faye owned and operated Ralph’s Fishing Camp for many years. He was also the captain of “Lori T,” a 36-foot ferro cement shrimp boat that he built. He received national publicity when the boat was launched in 1971.
