In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Claude Myers and Ted Myers; and sister, Erline Myers. Survivors include his loving wife of 79 years, Samantha Lyon Myers of the home; sister, Joan Whisnant and her husband Fred of Mocksville. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Austin Baptist Church Cemetery.
