Description	:	Ramona E. Mack, age 74, of Kranzburg, SD, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2006 at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown. She was the widow of Francis Mack. Ramona E. Mack, the daughter of Joseph and Annie (Endres) Strohfus was born on January 17, 1932 at Watertown, South Dakota. Ramona and her twin, Robert were baptized in the St. Henry's Catholic Church. She attended grade school at the Curley School in Henry Township, and high school in Watertown, graduating in 1950. Mack, age 74, of Kranzburg, SD, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2006 at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown. She was the widow of Francis Mack. Ramona E. Mack, the daughter of Joseph and Annie (Endres) Strohfus was born on January 17, 1932 at Watertown, South Dakota. Ramona and her twin, Robert were baptized in the St. Henry's Catholic Church. She attended grade school at the Curley School in Henry Township, and high school in Watertown, graduating in 1950. Ramona then attended Notre Dame Jr. College in Mitchell and taught school in Codington County for about five years. On July 6, 1957 she married Francis E. Mack in Henry, South Dakota, and the couple lived southeast of Watertown. Ramona was truly a farm girl who loved the farm and raising their children. She loved cooking, baking pies, cakes, and cookies and welcomed whoever dropped by into her kitchen. Francis Mack passed away on June 11, 1985. Ramona was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Altar Society, Catholic Order of Foresters, Elks, and Goodwin Birthday Club. Ramona was loyal to her family, church and friends. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, playing cards, attending Town Players, dancing, watching sports, and enjoyed bus trips with her lady friends. She especially enjoyed her family and watching her grandchildren in their activities. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by five sons, Nicholas (Sharon) Mack, Emil (Renee) Mack, Virgil Mack, Anton Mack, and Lee Mack all of Watertown; her daughter, Maxine (Ryan) Moyer of Watertown; two sisters, Iona (Clarence) Tschakert of Florence, and Laurene (Loren) Thoreson of Vienna; one brother, Marvin Strohfus of Watertown; two brothers-in-law, Hank Koslowski of Hot Springs, and Arbie Ronke of Watertown; two sisters-in-law, Lucy Strohfus, and Jean Strohfus of Watertown; 10 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild. Funeral mass was held Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kranzburg with Father Kenneth J. Koster officiating. Music was furnished by the Holy Rosary Parish Choir and vocalists, Neil Mack and Pete Mack accompanied by Eileen Lindner. Interment in the Holy Rosary Church Cemetery, Kranzburg, SD. Active Casketbearers were Nicholas Mack, Emil Mack, Virgil Mack, Anton Mack, Lee Mack and Jordan Mack. Arrangements by Wight, Comes & Sogn Funeral Chapel.
