Description	:	Randall "Pete" Alvin Hollman died in his home on February 11, 2015 outside of Hallam, Nebraska after a 2 1/2 year battle with Lymphoma cancer. He was 65. Pete was born on September 22, 1949 in Lincoln, Nebraska to his parents, Henry and Marjorie (Spellman) Hollman. He graduated from Crete Public Schools in 1968. Read More	Randall "Pete" Alvin Hollman died in his home on February 11, 2015 outside of Hallam, Nebraska after a 2 1/2 year battle with Lymphoma cancer. He was 65. Pete was born on September 22, 1949 in Lincoln, Nebraska to his parents, Henry and Marjorie (Spellman) Hollman. He graduated from Crete Public Schools in 1968. He married Christine Kant in March 1976. The Hollmans lived in rural Crete Nebraska where Pete farmed with his father and Chris was a homemaker until the last of the three children entered school. Pete was always willing to lend a hand; he enjoyed helping his son-in- law with setting up auctions and discussing farm issues with other farmers. Pete enjoyed Trap Shooting, Playing Fuchs in the winter, coyote hunting with his friends and children, deer hunting with his son, and going on fishing trips to Elwood with his family and friends. When grandchildren came into the picture they were the most important part of his life, vacations and programs were a regular part of his daily activities. Pete is survived by his wife Chris; daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Ivan Sublett with children Erica and Ethan of Scandia, Kansas; Tricia and Troy Novak with children Alli and Max of Dorchester, Nebraska; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cathy Hollman with children Nick and Amy of Crete, Nebraska; his sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Don Lampila of Crete, Nebraska; brother and sister-in-law, Rod and Linda Hollman of Martell, Nebraska; Ray and Vickie Hollman of Crete, Nebraska; Rex and Ann Hollman of Crete, Nebraska; and Dick and Sondra Hollman of Hallam, Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Marjorie Hollman of Crete, Nebraska. Funeral services: 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Kramer, Nebraska 68333, with Rev. Joshua Hayes officiating. Visitation with family and friends at 6-8 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete, Nebraska. Memorials directed to the family for future designation to charities of choice.
