Description	:	Randy Buckley, age 62, of Eldora, IA, died on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his home in Eldora. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9th, at 10:30 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in Hubbard. Randy will be buried at Hubbard Cemetery. After returning home from the... Read More	Randy Buckley, age 62, of Eldora, IA, died on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his home in Eldora. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9th, at 10:30 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in Hubbard. Randy will be buried at Hubbard Cemetery. Randolph "Buck" Allan Buckley was born January 24, 1953 to Judy and LeeRoy Buckley in Tama, Iowa. In 1967 the family moved to Eldora where Randy graduated from Eldora High School with the Class of 1971. He then served in the United States Navy from 1972-1975 and was discharged as an E-4. After returning home from the Navy, he started working at Lawn Hill Cooperative where he worked for 37 years before he retired due to his health. In 1988, Randy was united in marriage to Brenda Mesch and became a family of six with the four children, Kris and Kyle Buckley and Brian and Heather Tidman. Randy enjoyed camping, driving his restored antique B John Deere tractor in parades and on tractor drives. He also loved tailgating at Iowa State Cyclone football games where he made numerous friends. On weekends when family and friends gathered for a BBQ Randy always did the grilling while enjoying a cocktail in hand. Randy also loved spending time with his grandchildren Randy was a member of Walter Sayer American Legion Post #182 where he served as the Sergeant of Arms. He was also an active member of the Hardin County Farm Museum. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Brenda; his children Kristen Buckley of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Kyle (Amie) Buckley of Eldora, Brian (Kristin) Tidman of New Providence and Heather Tidman of New Providence; mother Judy Mossman of Eldora; brothers Kenny (Marilyn) Buckley of Eldora, Warren Buckley of Eldora and sisters Pam (Mike) Hendricks of Hubbard, Wendy Mossman of Eldora, Tracy (Rob) Clark of Tama, and Patty Mossman of Boise, Idaho; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, LeeRoy Buckley and his step-father, Ben Mossman.
