Dallman, 43, of Hooper will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper. He died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He was born Sept. 10, 1959, in Fremont. He was raised and lived all his life in the Hooper area. He was a graduate of Logan View High School in 1977. He worked for the Hooper Telephone Co. beginning in August 1979. It later became WesTel Systems. He married Janis Wedergren on Sept. 26, 1980, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. He was active in the Hooper Commercial Club and was an emergency medical technician for the Hooper Fire and Rescue since 1996. He was an avid runner and a marathon runner. He had been a torch carrier for the Cornhusker State Games. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fremont. He also was a member of the Elkhorn Valley Golf Course in Hooper. Survivors include: his wife, Janis; a son, Adam Dallman of Hooper; a daughter, Natalie Dallman of Hooper; two brothers, Jack (and wife, Marty) Dallman of Albuquerque, N.M., and Dan (and wife, Judy) Dallman of Uehling; a sister, Terri (Mrs. Dave) Nilles of Alton, Iowa; his father-in-law, Jerome "Jerry" Wedergren of Fremont; two brothers-in-law, Bruce Wedergren of Lincoln and Scott (and wife, Shelley) Wedergren of Omaha; a sister-in-law, Susan (Mrs. Allen) Styskal of Fremont; and 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Dallman; his mother, Roxie Dallman; and his mother-in-law, Pat Wedergren. The Rev. Tom Shaw of the Church of the Nazarene and the Rev. Steven A. Tjarks of Redeemer Lutheran Church will officiate Tuesday's service. Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. today and 7-9 p.m. today, with the family receiving friends from 7-9 p.m., all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Hooper Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the Hooper Fire and Rescue. A memorial has been established to the Hooper Fire and Rescue.
