Description	:	OAKLAND — Randy Eugene Bernard, 48, of Oakland, died on Feb. 9, 2015, at his home. He was born in Oakland, on Aug. 27, 1966, and was the son of Harland Bernard and the late Janet (Dewitt) Bernard. Randy worked at New Page Corporation in the Wood Procurement Division and Interstate Hardwood after completing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Wood Science from West Virginia University and an Associate’s Degree in Forestry from Garrett Community College. Read More	OAKLAND — Randy Eugene Bernard, 48, of Oakland, died on Feb. 9, 2015, at his home. He was born in Oakland, on Aug. 27, 1966, and was the son of Harland Bernard and the late Janet (Dewitt) Bernard. Randy worked at New Page Corporation in the Wood Procurement Division and Interstate Hardwood after completing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Wood Science from West Virginia University and an Associate’s Degree in Forestry from Garrett Community College. He was a member of the Assemblies of God, the Elks, and the Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, playing baseball, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Randy is survived by his wife, Elisa (Madigan) Bernard and his three children, Mikaela, Brycen, and Rylee of Oakland. Also, he is survived by his brother Rodney; his wife, Robin, of Oakland; brother, Rory of Swanton; father-in-law, Lyle (Mike) Madigan of Oakland, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Loch Lynn Church of God at 8649 Gorman Road, Oakland, on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Loch Lynn Church of God with the Pastor Cindy Ackerman and the Rev. Don Matthews officiating. Interment will be held privately at the family cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be directed to the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department, 31 Third St., Oakland, MD 21550 or the Southern Garrett County Rescue Squad, 200 Baltimore Ave., Oakland, MD 21550.
