Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Laura (Newlon) Barr and five children, Mrs. Paul West; Mrs. Cora Rayls; Lon Barr; Mrs. Omer Phares; and Paul Barr. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Lucy Holman and two brothers, Samuel and William A. Barr. Ramsom was one of eleven children born to Ransom P. and Mary (McElvaine) Barr.
