Description	:	Rev. David M. Beggs, pastor of the Congregational Church, was in charge of the final rites and burial was made in the Hampton cemetery. Ransom Manly Miller was born December 6, 1878, near Byron, Illinois, where his early childhood was spent. Later the family moved to the vicinity of Sheffield, where he grew to manhood and on March 16, 1902, at the age of 23 years was married to Cora May McCormick, of Latimer. Survivors: His wife, nephews and nieces, Earl Miller, Lloyd Miller, Leroy Miller, of Clear Lake; Mrs. Myrtle Lowe of Waterloo; Mrs. Eva Kimble of Mason City; Mrs. Elsie Bussa, Mrs. Addie Hanley, of Clear Lake; Mrs. Hazel Gray of Oacoma, South Dakota and Stanley Miller of Iona, South Dakota. The body of Ransom M. Miller of 6157 Alameda Ave., El Paso, TX, who died in a hospital yesterday will be sent to Hampton, Iowa today by Koster & Maxon Funeral Home. He was 70 years old and had lived in El Paso for one year, and was a retired South Dakota rancher. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cora M. Miller.
