A son of the late Ray and Marguerite Greeson Masters, he was born March 31, 1918 in Graham, Missouri. He was a farmer and prize-winning hog breeder, spent most of his life showing purebred hogs, and loved to garden. Read More	Ray Masters, 87, of Russellville, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. A son of the late Ray and Marguerite Greeson Masters, he was born March 31, 1918 in Graham, Missouri. He was a farmer and prize-winning hog breeder, spent most of his life showing purebred hogs, and loved to garden. He was a member of the Poland China Record Association, where he was awarded the Distinguished Service Award, was a former auctioneer, a fifty-year member of the Oregon Masonic Lodge # 139 A.F. & A.M. in Forest City, Missouri, a former school board member of the New Point School in New Point, Missouri, and a member of First Baptist Church of Dover. On September 1, 1940 he married Doris King in Maryville, Missouri, who preceded him in death after 59 ? years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by a brother, George L. Masters. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law: Kenneth R. and Mary Masters of Kansas City, Missouri; Jack and Jeannie Masters of Belton, Missouri; Merrill and Debbie Masters of Beggs, Oklahoma; and Jerry and Jeanne Masters of Dover; a daughter and son-in-law, Darith and Don Buckles of Forest City, Missouri; ten grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Funeral will be 10 A.M., Friday at First Baptist Church of Dover by Rev. Jeff Paxton. Local arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, from 7 to 8 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be 3 P.M., Saturday at Miriam Cemetery at Maryville, Missouri, by Chamberlain Funeral Home in Oregon, Missouri.
