Description	:	Ray Robinson, 69, of Gas died Tuesday, March 18, at Allen County Hospital. He was born Oct. 12,1910, at Cedar Creek, Mo., the son of John and Mary May Robinson. As a young child he moved with his family to Stark, Kan. He lived most of his younger life in Neosho County and attended the Neosho County schools. On March 26,1938, he was united in marriage to Lavon Stillwaugh in Pawhuska, Okla. They lived in Bartlesville for five years and then moved near Garnett where they operated a farm. From Garnett they went to Marysville where Mr. Robisison... Read More	Ray Robinson, 69, of Gas died Tuesday, March 18, at Allen County Hospital. He was born Oct. 12,1910, at Cedar Creek, Mo., the son of John and Mary May Robinson. As a young child he moved with his family to Stark, Kan. He lived most of his younger life in Neosho County and attended the Neosho County schools. On March 26,1938, he was united in marriage to Lavon Stillwaugh in Pawhuska, Okla. They lived in Bartlesville for five years and then moved near Garnett where they operated a farm. From Garnett they went to Marysville where Mr. Robisison operated a Dairy Queen store. They moved to Gas 16 years ago from Marysville. Mr. Robinson was employed by Shannon Hardware until his retirement four years ago. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Marysville and Masonic Lodge No. 338, AF & AM at Kincaid. Survivors include his wife Lavon of the home; a son Darol of Gardner and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister. Faye Dahl. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Friskel Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Sype and the Rev. Jim Dillow officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery. Memorials in Mr. Robinson's name to the Kansas Heart Association may be left at the funeral home. Iola Register March 18, 1980
