Read More	Obit: Funeral Of Raymond Woods The funeral of Raymond Woods who died after an illness of two days at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert Campbell, on Tuesday night, was held at the home on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. The large number of sympathizing friends and neighbors in attendance at the funeral and the many beautiful floral tributes gave evidence of the sympathy of the people of the community for the sorrowing family. Raymond Adelbert Woods was the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Woods. He was born October 1, 1912, and died on Tuesday, August 19, 1919, aged 6 years, 10 months, and 19 days. He had a serious sickness over a year ago which necessitated an operation. Since that time he recovered his health in some measure but never became very strong. He was wonderfully patient in his sickness. Anyone who knows what he went through over a year ago could not help but admire the little fellow's courage and endurance and his thoughtfulness for others. He leaves to those who were dear to him memories which they will cherish as long as life shall last. And so this bright young life has ended here, to begin anew in a brighter and fairer world than ours, in that land where there is no sorrow, sickness or pain, for the former things are passed away. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Woods, and by two younger brothers, Richard and Ivan.
