Description	:	Raymond Anthony McGlynn, the fourth generation, son of Peter and Margaret Garvey-McGlynn, was born January 9, 1906 in Jackson Township, Boone County, Iowa. He married Margaret Anita Peipel at St. Joseph Church, Jefferson, Iowa on November 8, 1941. He died on September 18, 1999 and is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Boone, Iowa. Raymond farmed for many years on a homestead not far from where he grew up in Northeast Boone County. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 814 and enjoyed travel with his wife Margaret. Windell Parker of Mission, Texas and Rosemary and Haven (Jack) Kesling of Drexel Hill, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Vi McGlynn of Boone, IA; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
